About Us
5-Town Friends of the Arts is a dynamic collective of passionate volunteers, including artists, musicians, photographers, and community members dedicated to infusing our region with the enriching power of the arts. We believe that art transforms communities by fostering creativity and connection. We serve towns in Addison County including Bristol, Lincoln, Starksboro, New Haven, and Monkton.
Our goal is to channel resources and donations to where they are most needed, supporting art-related programs and scholarships that inspire and nurture creativity. Over 50% of our annual fundraising proceeds are dedicated to our Community Grants Program, ensuring robust support for local arts initiatives in schools, libraries and across communities.
Mission Statement
5-Town Friends of the Arts (5-TFA) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to enriching the lives of residents in the Five Town area that includes Bristol, Lincoln, Starksboro, New Haven, and Monkton. We provide opportunities for community members to engage in and appreciate the arts and cultural heritage of our region.
To support our mission, 5-TFA maintains a Community Grants Program, funds fine and performing arts education, community arts events, and projects promoting local cultural heritage. We prioritize proposals that benefit the maximum number of community members and serve diverse populations and purposes.
